Denture designs vary from person to person and types of denture are specific to the person’s requirements, whether it is a partial or complete denture that is required. Our Clinical Dental Technician will design and fabricate bespoke dentures with teeth to suit your complexion, the shape of your face and mouth while ensuring the new denture offers stability and support for your face. Our Clinical Dental Technician’s 3 key points when designing your new dentures are:

1. Fit—the new dentures will fit you well and may fit you in places where your old denture does not.

2. Function—the new dentures must function well so that you can eat and talk with confidence.

3. Aesthetics—the new dentures must look good and suit the shape of your face.  The colour of the teeth should, for partial dentures, match your natural teeth or in the case of complete dentures, match your complexion.  The new dentures should be a replacement of your natural teeth.  You can take your dentures home at the try in stage (before they are  finished) to look at them in your own surroundings or show to a family member or friend for their opinion.  You can also bring along a photo of yourself when you had your natural teeth and we will match up to that.
