With local offices in Roscommon, Mayo, Galway and Sligo RHS Home Services is providing home care services for hundreds of clients across the west, northwest and midlands.

Founded in 1996 by our voluntary Board of Management, RHS Home Care is a not for profit co- operative society with charitable status. Our Co-op is unique in Ireland and the first social care co-operative of its kind in Europe.

Our aim is to bring professional home care services to those who need assistance to remain living in their own communities across Ireland. These services are delivered on anot for profit basis by our highly skilled healthcare and domestic assistants, under the management of our supervisors, co-ordinators, management team and board of directors.

Our service is so well regarded that we are now a preferred supplier of home care to the Health Service Executive. On a daily basis our healthcare assistants deliver homecare services on behalf of the HSE to clients who are allocated both home help hours and homecare packages. We also provide our private care service to clients who do not qualify for HSE home help services.

We provide home care services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

In delivering social care, RHS Home Care is committed to the planning and delivery of quality care and other support services for our clients.

This includes the planning and evaluation of individualised programmes of care, which are based on our clients’ needs and identified in consultation with the client.

Our Social Care Co-ordinators work in a direct person-to-person capacity with our clients. Following consultation and assessment, RHS Home Care aims to provide a caring, stable environment in which various social care services can take place in the day-to-day living space of the client.
